“An amazing experience…. Not so much for the facilities on board ( which were top notch ) as for the personalized service that was provided by Linju. He seemed to genuinely enjoy his job and was extremely attentive and caring. The food was a gastronomical experience – one is still savoring to taste of the spicy prawns and fried pomfret. Kudos to Chef Remin for the meals served. Saji & Cletus in their quiet and efficient way steeved us through the backwaters of this wonderful place. The Jacuzzi is a great idea !! Perhaps the only boat that has one. However recommend speakers down stairs too. Thank You. Will be back again !
I understand that “Zuri” in Swahili means “beyond expectations “and now apt it is .It is not that we had visions of mediocrity when we chose Zuri as our holiday destination for our first ever trip to Kerala. On the contrary we had researched the matter quiet thoroughly and expected it to be an exceptional property. For it to have then surpassed our expectations is not so much due to the grandeur of the property(we have seen some that are more beautiful )but the quality of the service. To have a G.M who noticed which city our passport was issued from and then to see him personally serve soup to the guests at dinner is what sets this property apart from the many we have visited. And perhaps no one symbolized this attention to detail as much as our host Linju.He was absolutely outstanding in the manner in which he looked after us-preempting our needs almost telepathically. I do not know when we will come back but we know now which is the property to recommend to all those who want to visit this part of “God’s own country”- Nitin and Arati Khanna
